This series offers a wide range of age-appropriate, high-interest readers for children in Key Stage 2 and 3 who are struggling to make progress with their reading. When you place a bid on an auction, a message will be displayed on screen to confirm if your bid was successful. To ensure that children are given every opportunity to succeed in their reading, the introduction of new words is one new word for every 16 known words (1:16). The little boy struggles to accept that he must now spend his life in a wheelchair, until one day he discovers a ‘magic’ chair.

When they could no longer act on stage, they focused on writing and illustrating their five children's books, which kept their imagination flowing. I've had paintings bought, and designs on Christmas cards, which is brilliant - but this is very much on another level. The book itself is really good quality with large colourfully printed pages, I really like that at the start of the book there is a photo of Ian Parker painting with his mouth, alongside the author Victor Margiotta. Written by Victor Margiotta and illustrated by Ian Parker, a mouth painter with the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists (MFPA).

This is a great story about the strength and determination it takes to achieve great things, made even more wonderful by the special illustrations.

When I was about 13 I also started to take part in our school's annual Christmas card design competition, with pictures of churches, robins or landscapes, so not so far from my usual subjects for the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists now!Unlike a picture hanging on the wall or holding a single card in your hands, you're interacting with the book and getting involved in it as you follow the words and images of the story. Then one day he discovers something amazing in the old stone building at the end of his Grandma’s garden that will change his life forever.

Attending health appointments have previously been challenging but recently with the teams help they are going well Danny’s Dream and Christina have been a lifeline and I could not have picked a nicer bunch of people to support my son Danny’s Dream are doing a marvellous job with my son and he really enjoys going out with his PA’s. We really liked that the story told how Danny’s accident happened and explained all the emotions he feels about life in a wheelchair and the loss of his Olympic dreams. Written and illustrated by Vanessa and Charlotte when they were twelve years old, Danny's Dream captures the wonders and spirit of being a child.

He’s not had an easy start in life so, whenever he can, he heads to his favourite tree in the middle of the forest, climbs to a little platform at the top and closes his eyes.

When choosing bedtime stories for the kids I’m always looking for books that will actively teach them about diversity and inclusion. I don’t want to give away too much about the story but I will say that the story gives an invaluable and uplifting message about never giving up on your dreams no matter what you are facing. As already mentioned, it was a tiny bit old for Ivy (who is 3) so we read it in small chunks as if it were a chapter book. But also it was great being in communal studio space and being able to develop my art practice along with other artists.Imagine being a child living in your own magical kingdom, with mystical streams, enchanted forests, and your own little castle, shared with your best friend. Vibrant illustrations and photographs are paired with engaging, varied topics and stories to ensure that there’s something for every type of reader. A magical story about a young boy who dreams of being an Olympic champion, when one day a dramatic incident changes his life forever. Before reading the story we looked through all of the artwork and talked about how long it must take to be able to paint such intricate pictures without the use of your hands – 2 whole years in fact! She was utterly intrigued by the fact this was possible and amazed that each of the 34 illustrations had been painted in this way.
