About this deal

A live-action short movie was released on Hakusensha's official YouTube channel on February 20, 2018 to promote the release of the 12th volume. The film starred Kaho Mizutani as Yuki and Ikumi Isaka as Sho. [3] Reception [ edit ] The art of Namaikizakari is beautiful on all aspects- such as the romance scenes and the sports scenes. I also really loved the author's previous works, so the art really got me here. I'm okay with him, although I think the story exaggerated his girl-phobia a lot. But he does remind me of Yuki, with how passionate he is for basketball and determined to complete his goals. That makes me admire him a lot. An ex of Naruse appears, they fight, and somehow Yuki chooses to do something morally wrong in an already messed up situation: going out with Shizuka, get kissed again. She basically freaking cheats!

They both attend Osaki University after graduating from high school. Sho continues to play college basketball and Yuki begins managing the team. I kind of get how a teenager's body and mind reacts and develops different from adults. Sale is important for the survival in business and contribution in the economy. But they should do better. We should do better. I am uncertain if Japan is very liberal or very objectifying and oppressive these days - it's always dangling between these fine lines. But I agree with milkgreentea, girls will get impressions out of these works. And this is not romantic. It is not love. If this was to happen in real world, in the US for instance, imagine the sensationalisation coming from the media reporting a high school/college rape case. And there will be more coming to light, more progress made. So these shoujo mangas'd better catch up with the current and really do more than just pretty art. Mateo, Alex (May 21, 2021). "Yen Press Licenses 6 Manga, 4 Light Novels for November". Anime News Network . Retrieved May 21, 2021. Characters: The characters are just great; their personalities seem to be simple (Naruse, the dashing guy and Yuki is the cold, tsundere type). But they are much more complex and thanks to each other they are developing and learning about themselves. There are only a few supporting characters, but there is no need: the inner monologues of Yuki are really entertaining and Naruse always says whatever he wants :) I really like Namai's art style. The characters are drawn very cleanly(?) and the cutting isn't too confusing. Naruse is especially eye-catching (though I guess that's a given...) The other characters are also drawn with pretty distinctive traits, so it's easy to recognise them.Update no.1 after completing the serie: GUYS, HEAR ME OUT. DON'T READ THIS. IT'S NOT WORTH IT. IT MAKES YOUR BLOOD BOIL. Ressler, Karen (July 4, 2018). "Japanese Comic Ranking, June 25-July 1". Anime News Network . Retrieved October 24, 2018.

The most awesome in this manga is the character itself. I can’t withstand with Naruse (kouhai). I mean…how can he teased Yuki (senpai) so many times with a flat face like that? He’s just funny, romantic, adorable, badass, and also a lovable character. And Yuki…I like the way she doing a monologue. It’s so entertaining. And you know what, it's not even the worst yet, the worst thing is: THEY ARE SO WISHY WASHY ABOUT SOLVING THIS PROBLEM, and it gives you a lingering unsatisfying feeling.

Retrieved October 24, 2018.damn i love this manga so much. well theres some part that i dont really like such as shizuka being a little bitch. well i think that's what makes this manga special. that amount of uneasiness that they left to the viewer so that they are craving for more chapters.

Ressler, Karen (September 28, 2016). "Japanese Comic Ranking, September 19–25". Anime News Network . Retrieved October 24, 2018. The art was actually quite nice and tolerable, the mangakas art style is actually quite unique so you can tell if Yo, I ain’t a reviewer and I have never reviewed a manga before but this manga pissed me off so much that I had to write about it.Yuki got NO character development (other than being able to show a couple more feelings towards naruse) Ressler, Karen (September 23, 2015). "Japanese Comic Ranking, September 14–20". Anime News Network . Retrieved October 24, 2018. The most interesting part of this manga is on the smooth progression of the characters in terms of relating with all those happening around them - love, family, basketball, rivalry - and in that process, the flaws of each character are presented and what I like the most is the characters action to answer those flaws they discovered P/s: I don't say that I didn't enjoy this kind of fiction growing up. But now it's different because I can reflect on how impressionable they can be and how they can morph one's thinking and development. Sure, one can say something like "who cares" and overlook this. Still. Be better, do better! Write better leads so that we readers aren't just amused, but can actually learn something from. but it's kind of hard to forgive all of her faults because she's just that "oblivious" or "naive". I think the problem was, the writer did such a good job writing Naruse-kun that you can't really help but empathize with him and his genuine love for the MC. Even the love rivals that appear in the plot are all beautiful and lovable, so when the MC is as weak (some even call her "stupid") as Yuki is, it's annoying.
